Housing and Residence Life


The Office of Housing and Residence Life provides a residential experience that keeps residents safe while ultimately building a strong, inclusive community. Housing and Residence Life oversees residential living, student staff recruitment and training, educational and social programs, and housing assignments and operations. They collaborate closely with Admissions, Facilities Management, Student Financial Services, Student Billing, Event Services, Chartwells, Athletics, ELSA, Honors Program, Equity and Inclusion, Wellness Center, Student Involvement, Orientation, the Niebuhr Center, Student Conduct, Case Management, Title IX, and Public Safety. The University’s residential inventory includes 1006 bed spaces on campus in facilities that include six traditional residence halls (Dinkmeyer, Niebuhr, Cureton, Schick, Stanger and West) and independent living opportunities which include on-campus houses and apartments (Prospect and Elm Park).
